Bits and Bytes from my Life

Last week we visited Crystal mountains for our first skiing experience. Crystal mountains is just 1.5 hours from Seattle. It is very close to Mt. Rainier. It is amazingly beautiful and the drive is just mind blowing.

We stayed at Alta Crystal Resort. We just loved it. They had something going on everyday. First day they had a movie show(some Ski movie) for all residents and next day was a camp fire. That was real fun. We got a chance to talk to other folks and eat marsh mellows … I will highly recommend the resort to anyone visiting the area.

Skiing is fun. I have tried Ice Skating before and that was terrible. You don’t get much hurt when you fall while skiing. It is easy to learn too. We both enjoyed it a lot and I am sure we will return next season and learn the sport.

Learning to fly has been a childhood dream of mine. You can walk, run, swim but how can you fly???? I always thought about it when I was a small kid.

Finally I took first step towards learning to fly. I went and took the first introductory lesson at Galvin flying school. I hope I can get my private pilot license in next few months. That will be so much fun.. :) Imagine this I could take Swati for a dinner date on our next anniversary to Vegas. :) Don’t tell Swati about this plan.. Heheheheheh.. Enjoy…

It has been long time since I have blogged. My new job has been very hectic and with the election season I was just busy with keeping up with it. Here is an update on what has happened in past few months…

First thing we did after moving was sold our old cars and bought new Toyota Camry…. It is a great car. We are enjoying our stay on Mercer Island there are some great walking and biking trails and some amazing parks. Every week we try to go for a trivia at a local pub with few friends. It is real fun…

My new job is going fine. Just too much work and some travel.. But I am enjoying it… Still trying to adjust to Seattle… Enjoy…
