Bits and Bytes from my Life

A journey that started 2 years back with 69 other unknown faces to achieve MBA got over yesterday. Over a period of 2 years I have made many friends. I am sure some of these friendships are going to last for a lifetime. J The journey was full of hard work and fun. I have learnt a lot not just from the program but also from all my classmates. J

Today is my one year anniversary at Microsoft. Last one year has been an amazing experience. I have learnt a lot in this year. In this first year I was worked on Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2005 SP1 and Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2008(Orcas). Going through a whole development cycle in Microsoft is really a great experience. Being a Program Manager you get to see everything in the development process.

Many times when I talk to people they think of Microsoft as a big arrogant money making corporation. But having been with MS for last one year I can tell you everything we do in Microsoft is driven by customer satisfaction. We really try to work hard to make good things happen for our customers. We work with customers on various level, be it advisory councils, Strategic design reviews, forums, weekly interviews or field visits.

Anyway I have enjoyed my first year at MS and learnt a lot on my way. J
