Happy New Year with Twins on the way…

January 3rd, 2010

Happy New Year or I should say Happy new Decade. :) What a decade it was. Personally it was huge for me with tons of changes. I moved to US in 2001, Got married in Dec 2002 and had an amazing time since then. :)

2009 was special for us we had an amazing vacation in Italy which was dream come true for Swati. :) I have been too busy to blog regularly especially since September. With tons for travel for office around the world including Hong Kong, Berlin, LA, Kansas City, NY, Louisville etc. Work is hectic as usual. But main reason for my being busy and not having enough time for blogging or other similar activities is next transition in our life… :)

YES WE ARE EXPECTING… That too TWINS. :) Due date is anytime from now to mid Feb. Later the better for us and keeping our fingers crossed. Pregnancy is tough on Swati especially with Twins but it is also fun. It is amazing how technology has advanced. You can really see both babies very early on in Ultrasound and then track there progress. It is an awesome experience. Now we have 2 doc appointments every week.

2010 will be huge with we going from 2 to 4. Happy new year to everyone and will try to be in touch with y’all through this blog.

Enjoy and Happy New Year!!!

Weekend @ San Francisco(Day 3)

February 15th, 2009

On Day 3 we got up early and took a walk to worlds most crooked street(close hair pin turns). It was fun to see big SUVs coming down the street struggling to take turns. :) Next we had great breakfast at Baudin bakery in Fisherman’s Wharf.

Next we went to CA Academy of Sciences which is LEED Platinum certified building and Swati had to see it. :) After that we headed to apply for our Italian Visa. We received our visa couple of days back.. Now we are planning for our next VACATION in ITALY…. :) :)

Below are few snaps. It started raining in the evening so we came back to hotel room took some rest and went out for quick dinner. :) It was fun day.

Our 6th Anniversary at Seattle Glass Blowing Studio

December 20th, 2008

This Anniversary I decided to give Swati a completely different gift. Swati is the Artsy type in the house. :) So I decided to reserve private lessons in glass blowing for her. :) They allowed both of us to attend the lesson which was really great.

It had snowed for couple of days in Seattle and we were indoors for 2 days. Finally we just took chances today morning and took bus to Seattle downtown to attend our private lesson. Following are few pictures. I will post pictures of our creations later. It is cooling at the studio and we will get them in another couple of days. :) Until then enjoy these pictures. :)

Rama’s visit to Seattle

November 2nd, 2008

Swati’s childhood friend Rama visited us for 1 week few weeks back. It was fun to spend a week with her. Swati and Rama went to see space needle and experience music project meanwhile I sat at a coffee shop and caught on some work. :) I love Seattle coffee shops. :) Both girls also enjoyed some shopping.

Funniest story from Rama’s visit went as follow’s. :) Swati knows Rama and her family since childhood. Rama has a sister Sai. Swati had told me, Rama and Sai are twins and how they use to meet atleast once a year growing up in India. While talking to Rama somehow the topic came up and when Swati mentioned about Rama’s twin sister, Rama clarified that Sai was elder to her. I said ya by few minutes right, she said no by almost a year. :) Swati’s was shocked, for years Swati has been thinking they were twins which they are not. :) :):) It was so funny we were laughing for so long. Swati even called her parents to clarify. :) :):)

Here are some snaps from Rama’s visit. :)

6 Cars in 7 Years

May 11th, 2008

Couple of years back I wrote a post titled 4 Cars in 5 years and yet not satisfied…. It described my obsession of buying cars. I had owned 4 cars in 5 years. :) Since few more things have changed.

After moving to Seattle, we sold our 2 cars and bought 2 new cars. We bought a Toyota Camry 2008 model which I will drive and just last week we bought Mini Cooper for Swati. It is an amazing car and Swati loves it. :) It was her dream to own a MINI. Take a look at few snaps.

It is very tiny car but really spacious for 2 people. The best thing, it is convertible. :) :):) Love it.
