If we amplify everything we hear nothing – Jon Stewart.
Here is video from CNN showing what I said in my earlier post. Mumbai is back to normal. Mumbai or Bombay as I like to call it never stops and that is reality.
Hope my tomorrow is better than today. Hope that my children will have better life than me. Hope that I can enjoy this planet everyday of my life. Hope there is peace around me. Hope I can achieve everything I want to based on my hard work.
Decision in this election is only one, "Do you want to look in future or do you want to be bogged down by past". Yes McCain is the past, he still looks at world from filter of cold war. You need good judgement and temperament to be leader of this world.
You have to hear this speech even if you are a republican…
Just came home and switched on the TV to watch Hillary’s comments on Bobby Kennedy’s assassination. From first look of her comments it feels she wants Obama assassinated so she can get the nomination.
That is disgusting. I am not sure what to say about this. What does she want? She lost the delegate race. She has lost more states to Obama. Her supporters disenfranchised Florida and Michigan first and now she wants to count there votes because she can do anything to win the nomination. If she cared about them she should have done that in Jan when the decision was made. She says she won the popular vote without counting the caucus states like Washington where I live. WHAT THE F**K is this. AND now she wants to stay in the race so someone can assassinate Obama and she can become the nominee. THAT IS DISGUSTING AND I AM DONE WITH HER.
This is amazing. Never seen that many people for a Rally. Waiting for results from Oregon and Kentucky. Obama will get majority delegates and I don’t think DNC has the guts to refuse him the nomination. I know Obama can win because this campaign is run not by just him but millions of people like me who have never actively participated in politics and are now ready to do our part.
Go Obama. :)
Portland Rally: "Wow, wow, wow"
By Christopher Hass – May 18th, 2008 at 9:07 pm EDT
More from Portland, via the Associated Press:
I have never looked up to Moore but I read this endorsement from Michael Moore and I was impressed. "Obama the movement" and I am part of it. The movement that has excited many folks like me. I really hope he wins tomorrow. I hope Pennsylvanian’s denounce the negative tactics of Hillary and elect Obama.
It is amazing Hillary calls Obama a elitist. If elitist means more intelligent that makes sense but a black man raised by single mom who choose public service instead of high paying job is elitist and First Lady married to Bill Clinton the governor and president is not. I just don’t get it. I have stopped watching TV because of Hillary and her negative campaign. I hope and pray Pennsylvanians do the right thing tomorrow.
What we are witnessing is not just a candidate but a profound, massive public movement for change. My endorsement is more for Obama The Movement than it is for Obama the candidate.
That is not to take anything away from this exceptional man. But what’s going on is bigger than him at this point, and that’s a good thing for the country. Because, when he wins in November, that Obama Movement is going to have to stay alert and active. Corporate America is not going to give up their hold on our government just because we say so. President Obama is going to need a nation of millions to stand behind him
Today we attended Obama rally at Key Arena in Seattle. It was amazing. The stadium can seat 18000 people it was over filled with many people standing. There were additional 4000 people outside.
Governor Gregoire edorsed Obama in the rally. Her speech was great. I think she has great future in politics. Seattle Mayor also spoke really well. But Obama was electric. It was chilling atmosphere with energy in the air. Amazing stuff. Never seen that much enthusiasm in the air. There were so many young people in the rally it was unbelievable. On our way home Swati said "I am inspired"… That was amazing. Go Obama…
There is no comparison… Obama is the best…
Today Obama said “We are the Ones We’ve been waiting for” . That is an amazing statement… Just amazing…
I have spoken to many folks and they thought it is still difficult for Obama to win in US. Today he proved it completely wrong. He won across the country. He won south, he won west, he won east and he won north.. Imagine Obama winning North Dakota, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Utah, Missouri… That is something…
YES WE CAN, YES WE CAN, YES WE CAN….
The battle is still tough and it is long way to go. I think Obama is the guy.. Lets get back to work…
Maria Shriver is wife of Governor of California, Arnold…. That is amazing…
LOS ANGELES (CNN) — Maria Shriver will endorse Democrat Barack Obama’s White House bid today at a Los Angeles rally.
The California First Lady will make a surprise appearance on-stage at the Sunday event, backed by the candidate’s wife Michelle Obama, talk show host Oprah Winfrey and Shriver’s cousin Caroline Kennedy
Shriver is married to California’s Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who endorsed GOP presidential hopeful John McCain earlier this week.
